Many customers, especially the ones in Food & Beverage and Agriculture find Ubiros soft gripper a viable solution for the challenges they face in automating their processes. Ubiros soft grippers perform very well even when large variation in object sizes and shapes exists. Although this is true for many other soft grippers in the market, Ubiros distinguishes itself with its patented design that is fully electrical actuated and lightning fast.
Electrical actuation eliminates the need for air supply, hoses, and valves. This, in turn, eliminates a lot of the complexity and eliminates the noise generation that is inherent in pneumatic (pressurized air) systems.
Ubiros soft grippers come in 3 models: Gentle Duo, Gentle Pro, and Gentle Flex Module. Each model also offers a variant called Touch. Touch version soft grippers provide added part confirmation, force control, and two digital inputs to offer more preset positions.
Ubiros soft grippers have a patented finger design. Flexibility and conformance is mainly stemming from this unique design.
